| UGM Motors is an
outreach of Union Gospel Mission Ministries of Spokane. It is dedicated to rebuilding the
lives of homeless men by teaching them responsibility, accountability, and
productivity through automotive job opportunities and Christian
discipleship. Men who
participate in the Union Gospel Mission's rehab program are eligible to
apply for paid apprenticeships at UGM Motors. Training for intern
apprentices can include:
- basic vehicle maintenance & repair
- evaluation of vehicle condition
- ethical salesmanship & customer relations
- vehicle detailing, parts ordering, & more
Honesty, integrity, and a strong Christian work ethic
also are important features of the program at UGM Motors.
