“Restoring lives” has many faces – the face of a single mom receiving the keys to her first reliable vehicle in years; the face of a young man who has mastered a new skill in the shop; or perhaps the face of an older veteran receiving his first warm meal in weeks. Each of these faces shows evidence of a different stage of life restoration, and each of these stories are part of what we do here at the Union Gospel Mission Motors.

And it’s what you have done as well. Thanks to your donations and purchases, the Union Gospel Mission Motors has been able to continually help support the life-changing programs and services of the Union Gospel Mission, as well as provide job skills training for our residents and many others in the community, over the past five years.

Your donated vehicles are given a new life by our certified technicians and our trainees, and are then sold at affordable prices to the community. When you purchase a vehicle through us, every penny of profit goes back into the Union Gospel Mission’s ministries, funding services for homeless men, women, and children!

In the last year alone, we have raised over $100,000 in revenue for the Union Gospel Mission. Not only that, but many low-income individuals or families have had the opportunity to receive a vehicle free of charge – a life-changing event for single moms, disabled veterans, Mission graduates, and many others struggling to get back on their feet.

Additionally, training opportunities on the sales floor and in the shop have allowed men and women to gain new employment skills, exercise responsibility, and build experience in order to prepare for a return to the workplace during their personal journey of recovery.
